Here's a a rough pass for the animation of this shot. There's a small blip in her head but I think I'll bump that out when I get into the cleanup. I'm actually planning to do a 2nd rough pass but looking at this it seems more or less what I'm aiming for! Perhaps I'll make a separate rough for the egg eyes.
I'm not going much into making Peridot move a bunch so I just focused on the lip syncing and the head turn. Compositing-wise, I'm looking into separating the lines of her visor, gem, and eyes as I plan to animate the glint effect as the head turns. I'm not quite that sure of how to do it but I'll just experiment and see!
