WIP - Artstudio Pro Test
Added 2018-08-18 04:55:40 +0000 UTCSo a friend recommended this iPad app to me after I was talking about the lack of clipping masks on Procreate and golly, is it very much like Photoshop! While I do admit that Prcreate‘s UX (user experience) is miles better than Artstudio Pro, there are just so many features on this app that I wanted. Photoshop brush imports, text, guides, adjustment layers, it’s kind of amazing that this app flew under my radar till now!
It also has a screen recording feature so I’ve managed to get the process video of my test. I wanted to see if I can really make an illustration (not just a sketch) that can match the stuff I make on the PC using the brushes I imported. Lo and behold, it turned out preeeetty accurate! Hopefully I can use this app for more finished products. I will still use Procreate for sketching as it is much faster and convenient but if I do need some coloring done, this app does the job!
