I decided to scrap and forget it because the design and pose looked awful. I did come back to this idea a little bit later with a better pose in mind. I also went for pushing my proportions more. It turned out much better!
I....usually go through this process of scrapping and coming back a lot.

2018-06-13 00:37:27 +0000 UTCThanks! I usually "cheat" my lighting using layer blending modes mainly color dodge & multiply. For this one, I used "screen" for the highlights and "hard light" for the mask. If they don't look right, I do a quick Hue/Saturation adjustment. Other than that, these colors were hand picked!
