New Year

I hope everyone had good holidays and a great start into the new year.
I got sick, lost my voice, couldn't hear out of one ear for awhile and lost all my energy in December. I'm getting better and it's running it's course.

So I'll be getting back to working on Synthetic Instinct, first step is all the organizing and writing as all my old structure plans will not work. These are notes from 5 years ago so a lot of where I wanted this to go (ending hasn't changed) has evolved. I'll also be designing a lot more characters as I've kinda been designing them on the spot as I was working on the first two volumes.

I've also decided infinite canvas updates will be shorter, just a page edited into that format with adding additional art for pacing if needed so I can do 2 updates a month. I originally sometimes mushed like 5 pages onto one update for the pacing but it really doesn't matter. Smaller more frequent updates works for several other comics I follow on there and hopefully I'll get less rude messages. It really wears me down to the point I'm kinda disconnecting from social media and comment based areas.

Last 3 months I've been pushing my art, lots of boring stuff like hands, feet, anatomy and lots and lots of humans. I'm glad I took this time as comics may level you up buuut you will also develop lazy shortcuts.
I started a bunch of pages for my portfolio but ended up strongly disliking them. Which is what pushed me to go back and just practice.

So one big change my patreon will go through once I start the actual art and new issue of Synthetic Instinct will be ready to post...
Comics will be $5 and up.

None of my peers offer comic pages on a $2 level (more common for $10 and up!), I started this patreon in 2018 so it's kinda okay to up the fees especially since Patreon sure has upped their cut.
$2 tier will be for G rated pin ups or stand alone illustrations.

I'm still trying to figure out how to organize my website, I'm leaning on the side of making subdomains for comics so they will have their own website, leaving my site JUST to be a portfolio and blog.
Right now it will be just Synthetic Instinct as I'll be taking Wild Autumn off the site and then off Global Comix as I don't plan to continue it and I dislike having just one issue. I will leave it on Patreon.

When I'll be ready to post comics I'll announce when I make the change. If you can't afford that, it's understandable you'll still get infinite canvas format pages on here.

I am finishing up a few commissions that I will be posting soon. :)
