SOTTR | Tomb Raider Eclipse Release! [Updated]

The classic outfit appears to have the pistols locked into Lara's hand. I'm not sure if anyone else has ran into this.

thanks so much! it was a weird instance where even if I had the 'Cambodian Robes' it still wouldn't allow me to interact but got a work around it. maybe it was just on my end.

Thank you very much, I appreciate that :) As for other language changes; no, this is only for English version. I don't know any of the other available languages so I don't want to butcher the subtitles haha. As for the DirectX 11/12 issue - unfortuantely CD/EIDOS left this as an issue with the game, and since coding is not my forté I can't fix it I'm afraid.

Thx i found it :) Do you have a mod or an solution how i can use the outfits right from the beninning of the game? i used the outfit unlock mode from nexus but that mod confuses the outfits...

Has the dialogue in the Portuguese language version also been revised along with the subtitles? Is it the same as the English version? Another thing is that in DirectX 12 there are problems with light bending in the game, but in DirectX 11 it is fine, is there a way to fix this? In DirectX 12 the game runs more smoothly without losing FPS. Congratulations on the work, it is incredible!

If it's any of the DLC or vanilla outfits, then yes she will be bald. This is because purehair has been disabled.

got a question - the sidequest 'dice with the dead' is locked behind the Blue Heron Tunic restriction. Is any of the outfits accounting for that? I am not able to interact with the NPC

The only thing I can suggest is going to where the sottr.exe is located (for steam users steamapps\common\Shadow of the Tomb Raider) and deleting 'resourceusage.bin' and all files beginning with 'bigfile._mod'. This will uninstall all Shadow mods, then try reinstalling all the Eclipse mod parts in sequence. Let me know how you go.

Yeah I installed everything. The version I'm using is the latest one I think it's 1.3.11. Still the voice didn't work.

It's very easy :) As the mod description says, you just unzip the mod manager download so you can see the 'Sottrmodmanager.exe'. Once you have done that, there's a couple of ways you can install each part of the mod: Click one of the "+" toolbar buttons and select the .rar file to install. Drag-and-drop the .rar file onto the listbox. Drag-and-drop the .rar file onto the .exe. Once you have done that with each .rar part, done! Just launch the game as normal.

So part 10 contains all of the voice lines - just to confirm part 10 is installed? You also need to have the latest version of the mod manager installed as sound importing was added after the initial release of it.

Have you got the original outfits unlocked? These are outfit replacements so you have to have the original ones unlocked first. So you can either do that by playing the game, or just download a 100% save file (there may be one on Nexus) and using that as a new game+. I believe there's trainers out there that also unlock all outfits for you automatically.

Oh that sounds great! I would love you to do the whole TR trilogy. Your jumping and running animations are TOP NOTCH on this, they make it so much less airy and floaty and stupid like the original. And the story blend with new voice lines from people is just so natural and seamless I can't work out what's base-game and what's mod. (Apart from "SAVING YOUR ARSE" in the plane at the beginning hahahaha) Thank you for making this game actually enjoyable to play. I found it so serious and exhausting at launch. Now it has a breath of fresh air and feels genuinely so much more tomb raider like.

Thank you very much! I must admit, I was very critical of my performance which probably didn't make things any quicker, but I got to a place that I was happy with - bar maybe one or two scenes which I just couldn't get perfect haha. Always happy to hear what people have enjoyed as well!

I completely gave up on the new reboot. For years. But then I saw your new mod and that alone made me try and install the game. Booted it up with your mods and I just.. I'm speechless! the mod is fantastic and the voice over is really, really good! So much work must have gone into this. I can't wait to play more of this. Thank you for bringing Lara back. This brings me back to the same joy I had as a teenager starting Angel of Darkness for the first time during Christmas! <3

1. It's up to you! For me, I use DX12 due to DX11 having a framerate drop when there's a big area and lots of NPC's on screen (mainly Paititi) but I know people have the opposite issue on DX12. Also, the lighting issues last for about 10-20 seconds total on DX12 through out the whole game, which is no bother to me haha. 2. No specific framerate, play at whatever works for you :)

Two questions: 1. I read your previous comment explaining lighting issues. Does this mean we should run the mod on DX11? 2. Is there a certain framerate the mod should be run at? or is any FPS fine (144/120/uncapped) etc etc.

1. As in, you select the outfits and they don't load or they are simply not in your campsite/inventory? If they aren't in your campsite/inventory, you need to unlock the outfits. Alternatively you can just download a 100% save game and then start a new game plus with that. 2. The modest lady, as the description says, is a patreon exclusive. You need to download it from the patreon exclusive post (found here https://www.patreon.com/posts/sottr-2001-film-108426744) 3. The issue of the hair disappearing behind fire/water is due to the shader issues which unfortunately cannot be fixed. The hair shaders in this game/engine are really bad :( 4. The lighting issue at the beginning is because you're playing on DX12 and not 11. This is an issue with the base game, so the fix would be to play on DX11. It will also happen in 2 other parts of the game if you continue on DX12.

Hi so sorry I am a little confused as there are some outfits missing, for example the Pacific Islands, all the AOD, the TRU Wetsuit are not visible. And also the Modest Lady outfit is not working, the icon is there but when I activate it it's an old outfit from base game. Also just to report a couple of minor bugs, first is that her hair disappears when there is water behind it. Second is in the opening underground tunnel Lara is stuck in, her flashlight had some severe flickering effects but I've not noticed these since. Perhaps the outfits/hair styles are to be unlocked later?
