This is the first video of Jenny’s I stumbled upon. I’m really happy I’m finally able to support her after however long I’ve spent watching her videos over and over again 🖤

I have an insatiable desire for your jack o'lantern sweater but I can't seem to find one online... which is CRAZY to me.

It's doing even better on r/videos. <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/videos/comments/72eant/i_did_it_i_found_the_worst_book/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.reddit.com/r/videos/comments/72eant/i_did_it_i_found_the_worst_book/</a>

It's doing well on this Reddit page: <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/PieceOfShitBookClub/comments/71rem9/i_did_it_i_found_the_worst_book/?ref=share&amp;ref_source=link" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.reddit.com/r/PieceOfShitBookClub/comments/71rem9/i_did_it_i_found_the_worst_book/?ref=share&amp;ref_source=link</a>

Is it an example of Poe's law if I think the book sounds like a deliberate parody? Every time I've seen or heard the word troll, it had a negative connotation, but certainly not "bad boy" negative. I mean sure, technically hackers are the bad boys of nerds but they never could join the ranks of guitar playing delinquents, gangsta rappers and girlfriend beating athletes in terms of attractiveness. Something about the "more grown up than the nice guys" vibe missing. The book was like : "I misjudged him. Behind the immature clod façade, deep inside, he's a real criminal." Or maybe I'm just stuck in the 90s and don't know what's cool anymore. Oh well.

The Porgs are appalled. 'What sort of planet is this?' they ask themselves, dreaming wistfully of Ahch-To and the sweet oblivion of Luke's tummy.

I could buy that. How "real" it is is something I've definitely wondered about, especially the further from season/book one you get. (They recently finished 3.) I can easily imagine it being anywhere from actually pretty earnest, to being written to be somewhat of a satire, to the whole story behind the book being bogus and it was originally intended to be turned into a podcast with the "my dad" gimmick. Or maybe book/season one was in earnest, but two and/or three were written deliberately to make a good podcast once they saw how successful season one was. (There's some circumstantial evidence they didn't anticipate becoming big -- they only registered their domain several episodes in.) Regardless, I've been able to mostly put aside those and still find it very much funny, but I can definitely see where you're coming from.

A couple of my close friends listen to that, but from the excerpts I've heard I'm genuinely skeptical as to whether the book in question is real and really written in earnest by the guy's dad. It's extremely similar to My Immortal in that it seems written as a self-aware satire. So that skepticism makes it hard for me to get into the conceit of the podcast.

This video turned out a lot darker than I expected from the first minute or two; so I feel like I'm kind of missing the point a bit, if there is one, with this comment. But in the spirit of making fun of poorly-written, self-published, purportedly-erotic novels, have you run across the podcast "My Dad Wrote a Porno"? It's sorta similar to your video, except (1) actually reading the whole thing cover to cover, (2) three people making fun of it instead of just one, and (3) it's written by the dad of one of the trio. And I guess (4) it's much less dark. And it's amazing. (And am I actually admitting to that with my real name?)

Oh wow, you read the whole thing!? Waiting for a sequel with baited breath I'm sure.
