The video is basically me giving small tips on writing video game melodies. Nothing crazy, just some personal rules I tend to follow (and very much not follow. The video goes into this more). Here are all the song samples used. Thought you might get a kick out of some.
Disclaimer: Some are meant to sound bad, as they are examples of...bad stuff. HOWEVER, there is one in there that is in 11/8 and it's probably a new favorite idea. I want to use it in something soon. You'll know it when you hear it.
