He was really battling against his own moral code, not sure where to direct this responsibility. If ghosts and humans are on the same level to Mob, what’s the difference between erasing “evil” humans if he does the same to evil spirits all the time?

He helps out the clients and sometimes doesn’t even take payment for it and this episode he only took the money so that the kids don’t get suspicious. If all of his clients leave happy and their problems solved, then he isn’t conning them. But with Mob, it’s weird because he is completely lying to him but Reigen is also the most in tune with Mob and understands him the most and is genuinely trying to help Mob and look out for him. But lying nonetheless

2025-09-12 15:23:04 +0000 UTCI think what they were saying is that Mob sees the worlds of humans and spirits in equal measure. Both contain evil and good to him, and neither is more alien than the other. In this case, he was confronted with a situation where he had to pick one to prioritize, and that's what was stressing him out. He was basically saying, "If I side with these spirits now, does that mean I have to go against humans now or in the future." It was about setting a precedent, and luckily Reigan was there to defuse the situation enough for Mob to do what he felt was right without having to go against the humans(clients) who were present at the scene, because they easily could've started a confrontation if Reigan hadn't done what he did.
