Given that pikachu's long term plan involves forming connections with body-part traffickers, he was surprised to have such close contact with the boss. He was ready to take on the spiders from when the prophecies informed of an attack.

2025-06-13 03:29:41 +0000 UTCI find Hisoka very interesting in that, while he isn't really trustworthy in a traditional sense, he can be trusted to always act in his own self interest and not make flippant or rash decisions about what works best for him. Which means that as long as you don't stand in the way of his goals he's not going to bother you, and he can even make for a useful ally when your goals align. So while he would almost certainly sell out Kurapika if that got him the fight he is looking for, he's also not the type to just turn on Kurapika for the fun of it. It's a very good example of an antihero.

2025-06-13 00:26:44 +0000 UTCI hope they get a chance to watch Yu Yu Hakusho at some point after this. Besides being excellent it's always fun to see the way the main character archtypes carried over. Plus Kurama/Kurapika was my favorite in that too.
