Hisoka killed every single one of his opponents thus far, the ref is safe to assume that hisoka would do the same to gon. Its not "bullshit" reffing, its responsible and quite literally preserves gon's safety.

2025-05-12 06:01:28 +0000 UTCMany people hate Hisoka by this point in the show for very good reason. However I cant really explain why but as the show continues the hatred does fade for most. I should also point out that his personality test for determining what Nen people have is widely considered one of the best ways to determine what affinity characters have. Its so good that people often use it in fan theory shows online about current manga characters and such. While there are many reasons to dislike Hisoka, I am very interested in seeing how you will view him at the end of the show. Cant wait for yall to see all the new fun things in York New City....Be ready this is when the show really starts moving at an incredible pace. I really want to know what affinity you think Leorio and Kurapika have as well.

We know Hisoka wouldn’t kill Gon because he wants Gon to become as strong as possible. The ref doesn’t know that, so it’s totally reasonable for him to react the way he did.

2025-05-08 21:57:24 +0000 UTCKenny the issue with using Zetsu is that it only shuts off your own aura nodes, not your opponents. If Gon could somehow force Hisoka into a state of Zetsu, then that would deactivate his bungie gum. However, if Gon used Zetsu that would simply leave him defenseless. All the basic Nen techniques are about controlling your own aura, not other people’s.

2025-05-08 21:27:44 +0000 UTCJust a mention on how creepy Hisoka is, he's only creepin' on Gon because he has potential as a thrilling fight. Hisoka is a literal battle junkie and see's how amazing Gon could be, especially with how fast he's growing. Every reactor I've seen gets weirded out by the SHWING part but it's only because he see's a good fight in him. Later on you will see the length Hisoka goes to for fights with strong people. He's quite insane with his thirst for combat. Some people are getting annoyed with your reaction but in my opinion it's VERY justified lol Hisoka IS a freakin' weirdo as well as a straight up murderer.
