2025-04-23 21:14:26 +0000 UTCOne of my theories is that hunter cha is a player too just like jinwoo because why else would she says she wants to get stronger if it wasn’t actually possible. Also why is it that Jin doesn’t stink to her but every hunter does. This combined with how monsters perceive Jin differently JUST LIKE HUNTER CHA. It’s completely plausible. He doesn’t stink because he’s just like her. Her smell is heightened because she a magical beast too.

2025-04-19 07:33:20 +0000 UTCI donno if someone mentioned this already, but according to a comment on another reactors video of this, they mentioned that the anime didnt include it but in the original manhwa Jinwo apparently failed to get Beru twice but got him on the third try, just like Igris! I think the idea is that since the Ice Elf, hes leveled up so much and unlike with the ice elf (where he had to use his summons along side him) he killed Beru only by himself but struggled like Igris!

2025-04-18 19:42:52 +0000 UTCI know that at the moment, Jinwoo doesn’t really have a way to heal other people besides with his potions. And if they’re in a situation like Hunter Cha was, it is a problem. Still though, Jinwoo doesn’t need a S-rank healer....at least not for himself. He has both his potions and his full recovery skill. And like someone else mentioned, it was a good decision for him to make, character wise. Him releasing Byung-Gyu Min’s soul shows that Jinwoo hasn’t completely lost his humanity. I mean....it would have been morally wrong for Jinwoo to keep him and his soul tethered to him forever when all the guy really wanted in life was to just retire and live in peace. I’m glad Jinwoo freed him.

Can't wait to hear Iron and Tusk again, as well as possibly hearing what Igris (and maybe Tank and Kaisel) sound like. Yeah, the last two are animals, but so is Beru.

AOT has both of those things but Frieren is perfection while AOT fell off in both the manga and the anime when the timeskip happened. Its why Frieren is number 1 on the MAL website and not AOT. Even though I think MAL is a waste of referencing since its all worthless rankings for anime anyways and that site is known to be biased in certain ways but still. So far, having read both manga, Frieren is more better imo. I was very disappointed in many things back when the AOT manga had done its timeskip and that doesn't change for me. Not trying to be rude but I think its funny to combat your opinion of AOT with mine hehehe

I don't know if it's something you guys would want to do but I'd love to see your reactions to epic the musical and I'm sure a lot of others would as well. Instead of reacting just to the music you could watch the animatics. And if you're worried about copyright, the creator said he loves when people react to his musical. But someone else made a good point it makes sense he'll be loyal because that's what he was born into. 🤷 I feel like the Conan and blue legolas (which reminds me yall need to watch LotR haha) could either be actual members of the "system" which has been leading jinwoo along...or potentially "players" like jinwoo from other worlds (which was hinted at a couple times this season) I'm genuinely curious and excited for the next season of the show to see where it goes (and tempted to read the manwha...is there a place i can read it for free by chance?)

It takes away all the weight of his decision to raise him in the first place, and then him actually doing it removes one of the very few interesting bits of the protagonist. Jinwoo has very little character as is, him committing to evil more and more would at least be something interesting that sets up stakes, cuz there really are not a lot of stakes anymore.

2025-04-16 14:55:01 +0000 UTCAlso one point to Berus loyalty being genuine, is he was born into a monarchy, so serving a monarch is literally his life’s purpose (see how pissed he was the queen was killed) and importantly Beru never said he was supposed to be king just one of the strongest. So think about if from his point of view, he gets to serve someone new who is even stronger than him, he gets revived by that king, and is given a life that essentially immortal as long as jinwoo lives. Think about that, if beru just bended the knee before the final blow and pledged himself to jinwoo, that would still be massive but he could die, 1 death and it’s over. Now though, he can go all out without a care because he knows if he falls in battle he would just return to jinwoos shadow and basically immediately be back in the fight, a dream come true for a warrior looking for a master

He had to talk him into helping them out one last time. -If you go back to when he hits level 100, and pause during the glitch, it teases where SJW needs to go in Season 3 :) -When raised, all shadows have bound loyalty, so Beru sees it as a blessing -Beru is named after French author Bernard Werber, author of "Empire of Ants" -Technicality, Kaisel is a wyvern, not a dragon. This is very much a story relevant difference. Dragons are much, MUCH different. -when the 2 humanoid guys show themselves and start talking, the Knights guild very clearly make it known that they were humanoid monsters. In the manhwa he hears him talk and says "monster speak?". Seed for thought, who else have we seen speak monster? -clearing things up, they were NOT talking about Cha. Poor usage of the word "stench" and it makes everyone think of the one person who repeatedly says "stench" all season xD. In the manha, he specifies that its the scene and smell of the dead *insects* that if "she saw it, she would be frightened" As for the questions, 39:10 funny thing about whether or not the other shadows feel loyalty or not.... ALMOST ALL OF THOSE SCENES WERE CUT FROM THE ANIME LOL. There were SO many quick little personality panels of the shadows in the manhwa that were cut from the anime. Things like Iron and Igris competing in gates to bring as many corpses to SJW as possible, knights trying to gather the essence stones from the ants on Jeju before being told that he, SJW, didnt need them and to leave them for rebuilding the island, SJW telling Tusk that if he let any of the humans get hurt he wouldnt summon him again and then Tusk giving a confident thumbs up and smirk, shadow ants eating other ant corpses and getting yelled at and then getting upset that they cant eat them. A lot of things like that

The manwha basically lived almost entirely on the art and fast pace of the story so the anime had to have at least partially the same level of quality in animation as the manwha did in art. And I gotta say, im happy with how S2 turned out. Hopefully the next season gets even better quality
