2025-04-07 22:30:11 +0000 UTCI like to compare HxH story to a D&D campaign, and I think it's safe to call the Hunter Exam arc the level 1-3 adventure. Great fun in the moment but it ends up being rather different from everything else and it sort of retroactively feels a little less interesting and more like a prologue to the "real" story.

They started with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, but other shows like Violet Evergarden and Castlevania are some of the most visually impressive and appealing series they will ever see, on top of having good stories. Point is, I feel like Mob Psycho and Vinland Saga, once again, are winning based more on popularity than quality.
