2024-03-24 03:57:56 +0000 UTCI can't help but wonder if his foresight was possibly based in his own knowledge of another's quirk Since he didn't know what eris quirk was, perhaps he wasn't able to get a full scope of the future that included eri being able to rewind dekus body and keep him fighting at full power (because we already know he was STRUGGLING just to fight at 20 to land ONE hit on overhaul)

I believed that what they were gonna do was basically have him finish his proper education for high school, apply to university, etc like normal 3rd years, but once they find a way to get his quirk back class 1A would be Class 2A and they would kinda work together. Clearly...some stuff happens. And that is all I will say about that.

So i just take it to believe he's just hanging around helping Eri. Maybe doing some independent research on how to get back to normal cause he said he'd never stop trying to find a way.

It was speculated that he was actually supposed to die vs All For One, but things changed because the influence Deku had on All Might. Then later Nighteye also says it was from the energy that converged on Deku.

He believes it was the energy of so many people with a clear focused goal in their mind, and their will to make it a reality that was converging on Deku, which broke the cycle Nighteye saw. Not sure why Kenny keeps saying it was Eri 😂

Like if we're arguing that One For All isn't the reason because Nighteye would have seen it he would have seen Eri too. It could be anything but I don't see it as something that has a definitive explanation other than Deku was so set in his ideals to save Eri that he wouldn't let the future that was supposedly "set in stone" stop him. I could be very well be wrong but I see it more as a "magic" thing rather than a quirk effect.
