2023-09-07 01:46:49 +0000 UTCFun little fact about the discussion between Nina and Lloyd that's easy to miss if you don't know the subject matter: what Nina is talking about is the fundamentals of nuclear fission. But she's talking about it theoretically, not as fact, which has the interesting implication that the Code Geass world is NOT a nuclear one. Because of Sakuradite's discovery, nuclear power has never been researched in that world. So they don't have nuclear power generators, nor do they have nuclear bombs. But Nina is discovering the mechanics of nuclear fission on her own. She's about to introduce nuclear power into the world of Code Geass, along with everything that comes with it.

Its just unlikely that they would know who you're talking about and could either confuse them or outright spoil them. I wouldn't pose any questions about characters that haven't appeared on screen yet unless they've been heavily mentioned in the episode, and not just a side comment or two
