The cast hadn't really jelled yet. 2. Multi-bear wasn't the original name for the character. He was initially called 'Bear-bear' specifically to set up a joke where Dipper would comfort him by saying "There there, Bear-bear.". 3. The Multi-bear is voiced by Alfred Molina.

When I was a teen I found out that it's only popular in REGIONS (large regions but still) of the United States and Canada, and honestly that's still kinda shocking. How is it not an American staple at LEAST? lol
