In Ethereal, we want all our myths to feel fun to play, unique to each other, and impactful to the game. While balancing numbers and testing the flow of their mechanics is vital to the game, we also recognize that each myth needs to look good and sound good to really bring them into their own. This is why we have been hard at work updating Talos’ sound effects to match his rework. The Primal Vessel certainly looks more menacing with his new model and animations, but creating new sounds for his abilities that emphasize a high impact in the beginning and slowly fade out through a deep reverberation really sell the raw strength of the character and the amount of damage that he can dish out.

We look forward to players embracing Talos’ new identity as a true terror on the battlefield, and will keep you updated on other myths that have their place in the game solidified through new and improved audio and visual effects.
