Give me your thoughts! Cliffhangers

I would love to hear your thoughts about cliffhangers. I know they're somewhat of a controversial issue, and, in my opinion, they're often used as a lazy tool to introduce drama.
But cliffhangers can also be used in interesting ways, especially when you're doing a parody.
So what do you think? I offer you this render of Angel as payment for your vote. ;)

Cliffhangers are fine if you don't have to wait one year before the next chapter. In that case are totally negligible and does not realy matter

2021-09-09 11:27:28 +0000 UTCCliffhangers are as old as storytelling. Apprehension and anticipation are good things. What decent author does not end a chapter with you not wanting to read on - otherwise you wouldn't. Now, porn games are different animals, as many players are just in it for the faps, and dislike it if they are tasked with actually reading. So I guess it depends on who your target audience is.
