So doing some bodytype experinments, these use the same rig and morphed clothing.
Next I want to rig some clothing, try a pose and see how it all translates to the different body styles, hopefully there wont be much editing after that if it goes ok.
Then it's a case of making a new costume, skinning it and then there is potential for size variety or just easier to make different characters using a single rig.
So imagine making a swashbuckler costume for the middle size, posing it using a rig (which is easier then quicker to iterate on), then updating it in Zbrush using the rig. Then once I'm happy the hope is then to press a couple of buttons and then have a fat or a thin variant with little clean-up needed... Thats the intent anyway :)
