A bit of news about TMS v 0.4.5
Added 2022-03-15 03:07:26 +0000 UTCWe are currently working on the long awaited gallery function. Since we like to make life harder for ourselves rather then starting from the main menu the gallery is an in-game option which unlock at the beginning of this update. By collecting pictures through the story and by exploring the world the MC can unlock the gallery for different characters. Writing the code for it is made a bit more complicated by the fact that we want scenes seen in previous play-trough to be available for replay as well but we almost got it worked out.
The early phase of the update will vary quite a lot depending how many of the options with Sharon the player managed to unlock in the previous update; which is fun but pretty time consuming to put in practice. Things should get a bit more linear in the rest of the update.
Finally we're going to leave our poll about remaking episode one open until the next update but the consensus is clearly that new content should take priority; if we have some spare time we may remake some of the worst offender before we release version 0.4.5 but for the most we are shelving the idea for the time being.
Meanwhile last week poll is still very much undecided; we'll probably close it by the end of March so if you haven't already cast your vote consider doing so now.

2022-04-06 00:40:05 +0000 UTCBy necessity we have to do a bit of both; even if the game turn out to be big in the future we still have bills to pay today🤷♂️Without comics and commissions we would be out of business in a few months, on the other end if we keep growing the day may come when we can hire outside talent to produce the comics leaving us free to focus on the game.

We had to compromise here and there because our tools are so limited (for example originally there was gonna be a similar photo session for Stacy) but in the end we are committed to realizing the game we initially envisioned; my only regret is that it proceed so slowly. Our hope is that at some point we'll have the means to publish a new version every two months but there is still a ways to go.
