Here is a first look at Zoe, the last character in the TMS line-up.
We'll get to get a glimpse of her at the end of the next update and get a better look in the following one.
For her look we took some inspiration from real life adult model Shay Fox. Let us know what you think.
As far as our progress go it's been a lot like running on a treadmill; we ran as fast as we could , covered a lot of ground and yet we're still in the same place 😓. That's mostly as a result of the interactive photo shoot ballooning to an insane 140 renders; we just wrapped it up two days ago.
As good as the final result look I'll have to admit we let ourselves be derailed; it's only made worst by the fact most people will never see the whole thing (come to think of it anyone playing exclusively through the Stacy's path won't see it at all)
The beginning of December it's gonna be, at least for me, chuck full of “real life” responsibilities that will probably keep me away from my desk; so we're really pushing to have this wrapped out by the end of the month but honestly we couldn't have made it harder on ourselves.
If any good came from the whole situation is that it gave us a reason to seriously rethink how we go about this project. In general we tend to have fairly tight plan when it come to our comics with a detailed storyboard and pretty well defined milestones but, maybe because it was initially conceived as a bit of a fun side project, our approach to TMS production is been a lot more “whimsical”.
Unbridled creativity can lead to some pretty amazing stuff but it definitely don't help meeting deadlines or making a project profitable. I think from the next update we may have a much more prearranged outline of what we're going to do and how we're going to do it that we had in the past.
Meanwhile I better get back to work... 😬
