Update Preview - 1.3.0

These past few months I have been working on a ton of improvements to the shader and the code. These include huge performance optimizations, better quality texturing and support for much larger planets using the new Advanced Subdivision system.

I've revamped some of the planets and moons with updated textures. Pictured are Pol, Minmus, Eeloo and Moho and their new looks.

I hope to have this update ready in a week or two. I'm super excited to be showing it off here!

Oh.. and just established a base on Eeloo. Dang. Well done. The UX difference between stock Eeloo and Parallax enhanced Eeloo is most worthy. Moho colonization is en-route now. Can't wait to see it. Vall, Duna, Ike, Gilly - all a whole new level of UX now. Hah.. you have to make sure to dodge all the various features - just in case they are real features. Lost a Minmus rover to that oversight. Kerbal survived and has been rescued. I like this. Makes for more of a realistic "feel" to the whole thing. That "box of chocolates"

My wife is pretty durned cool. She is a map and GIS librarian (THE UofO Map and GIS librarian) and is impressed at the level of effort to get those effects. I'm running Parallax 1.3.0 with KSP 1.12.2 and am getting the "..not running on a supported version of KSP..." The mod indicates compatibility with 1.12.x. Is this expected? I have Making History 1.12.1 and Breaking Ground 1.7.1 Also, from a purely UX perspective, the Parallax messages on startup are a tad distracting and initially alarming. May I suggest the ability to suppress them?

Love to hear it! It must be strange from her perspective to see a fully grown man get excited at some funky ground textures, lol

I just came onboard and have been cycling through my various bases and my wife is just laughing herself sick at me saying "woahhh... woahhhhhhhhh". Very well done. I particularly like how it gives you a sense of depth to terrain. The Parallax Collisions will really add a completely new dimension to the game. Looking forward to seeing that.
