Parallax Collisions - Ingame Implementation

Hey everyone! As I'm getting closer to release, I thought I'd share a preview of Parallax's 1.2 update working on Duna.

Duna will be getting a texture overhaul in this update because I'm not happy with how they look in the current version. The terrain, with collisions enabled, is also much easier to navigate.

I look forward to being able to provide a beta in the future!

The damping is there to stop your craft from being kicked up into the air when leaving time warp or deploying landing gear. There's no way to avoid it. Are you trying to turn collisions off?

Hey Linx, how do I turn off the damping effect? I'm just trying to keep my crafts landed on the Mun, and I think I remember green text popping up telling me that I can disable it in the config file. Is that the global config file? I only saw two lines towards the bottom about collisions, but nothing about damping.

I think wheels and landing gear would be like 95 % of the cases where you would want the terrain collisions, so not doing it for parts in general seem to be a reasonable direction.

So far, I'm only applying it to wheels. I'd love to apply it to parts as well and it's something I'm investigating, but since wheels were the difficult step I decided to make sure they work well first. Depending on performance, I may limit it to wheels or allow players to decide whether they want collisions just for the wheels or for everything.

looking so good. Do you create a collision plane for every part or just wheels/legs? What happens when my rocket falls over after landing?
