Daz to blender tutorial

Welp, the awaited tutorial is up.
Hope it helps you guys porting daz models and even your own OCs to blender from daz :3
using diffeomorphic so we can get all the advantages daz has to offer like anatomy corrective shapekeys (JCMs)that fix those joint deformations we all hate (like knees and elbows) body morphs, genitals, breasts and nipples shapes...
all while taking advantage of the great features the MHX rig can offer. like:
IK fingers, stretchy limbs, being able to swap and convert FK and IK, and insane stuff like loading daz poses. ever been lazy, or spent hours trying to get a good pose for a quick render? load a daz one!

IMPORTANT NOTICE!
This tutorial does not show how to convert game rips to daz models. i don't know how to do that yet, i do have made my experiments and attempts, but didn't got toolucky as i was doing that with Neytiri and the fact she has 4 fingers, 4 toes and a tail complicated things a bit.
So if you wanna try to make your own, i suggest you checking this tutorial that would have gotten me there, if it wasn't for the model choice i made:

I love this tutorial. You've answered so many of the questions I had about how to get things working! You mentioned not being sure what the shell fix utility does; it's a convenience Meipe added because when loading multiple grafts (like Breastacular and GP), any geoshells will automatically add a surface for the new graft. It really confuses people who are new to Daz because it looks like their textures disappeared. To fix it, you usually have to manually go to the new surfaces on the shells and turn the cutout opacity to zero, but the script will do it for you.

It's not too difficult unless you want a lot of extra movement. You can sculpt the bone structure outside of the program and then drag it into something like Daz studio or Blender. I've seen it though I couldn't tell you how to attach it in blender. There are some good (though expensive) tutorials on Daz on how to do it. Also lots of free youtube tuts posted on youtube.

yeah it doesn't seem to complicated but i ednded up giving up on it as i was experimenting it with neytiri and having less finger and toes bones and a tail only complicated things more xD

Took me a couple years to finally get a handle on a DAZ to Blender workflow. I’m still gonna watch the hell outta this in case I can pick up some new tips. Especially since my workflow is for like 3-4 versions of diffeo ago

One thing I do know is you need to rig a bone structure to your model. There are a couple of apps on Daz's website. Luckily when I say bone structure it's a very basic series of triangles linked together. Thanks!
