PC is back. So now what?

I've spent the last 3 days reinstalling everything, copying files and libraries of textures etc, running benchmarks stress tests, running blender physics simulations and playing games.
So far i have not had a single chash or weird issue at all.
But as you can imagine after months of issues and specially due to how umpredictable it was i can't help but feel a bit skeptical aboput it. with the i9 everything was fine for days till everything went to shit so i'm happy that everything is fine but still skeptical.
So this arises the question.
Should i make another test animation? short couple days loop like the judy one to make sure everything is fine when it comes to blender?
Or should i instead jump back to the bela animation (as i lost a couple files, nothing major) and finally moove on?
Personally i kinda wanna make a short loop for testing purposes. but i understand that you guys might want me to finish bela, then jake and once and for all get to the tifa animation.
but i would hate to start working on something long like the bela animation only to then have anmother streak of pc issues.
but all this is unjustified as the cpu and mobo are new. but i can't help to feel uneasy about continuing working on bela before i'm 200% sure this won't bite my ass on the second day.

Make a short loop if you think that’ll prove the system for you. You need to be able to have confidence in it, the cpu is probably fine now but it’ll help you rule out any other things.

2025-01-06 06:00:18 +0000 UTCFrankly, I'd go with the short loop work - if you can't be confident about your rig working well after all of the fixes, you'll be stressing out on a work cycle. Best to be sure right now.
