IT'S DECIDED

Welp, it's decided. I'm making the damn tifa animation once and for all and this is now my #1 priority from now on. no more distractions, side projects or anything. (ocasional tutorials will be the exception)

Why? why now? After almost 3 years?
Yes, because i still keep getting asked about it still after 3 years, there's even memes about it with part 1 on youtube... and honestly? i need money. i'll be cristal clear with you.

I became an "independent legal worker" (or however it's said in english) on july last year so as expected, the goverment is taking quite a chunk of my income (your donations) and patreon's income has been going down lately and i don't know why (because patreon is opaque as fuck when it comes to your income and statistics). AND, i need a new PC. i'm reaching a point where it's no longer an option to obsess about building a PC that can render anything overnight. my stuff is getting longer and i'm getting better at lighting and i really wanna render in cycles (that takes way longer than eevee) I'm no longer making one second loops that render in 8 hours of sleep. So i need a new pc. One that would render one scene while i work on the other one.

And this damn animation keeps on haunting me in my dreams. because i keep getting asked about it, because i'm too scared to tackle it. i'm scared of making something so complex i wouldn't be able to finish. and it's over, i'm tired of being a coward, i'm tired of being scared of my limitations and skills. If i got here was by pushing myself and learning new things to improove and get better. So I'm gonna (like we say in spain) "grab the bull by the horns". I don't know if it'll be as good as i want it to be (that being "scourge of the evil") but i'm sure as hell gonna give it my all.

I don't know how long it's gonna take, i don't know how long it will be, but this time is for real.
I'm also gonna start streaming on a daily basis on my discord sever if you ever wanna join and check the progress. might even consider taking a look at picarto for that matter.

I'll be starting with it on the 4th of this month. so stay tuned. (there's a couple things i gotta deal with irl this next two days)
