Night Walks (Environment) WIP 1
Added 2019-11-01 20:19:29 +0000 UTCSo I got a commission some time ago that called for a night beach theme. Well, sadly there are no such maps for SFM so I have improvised and created a full environment!
This is the finished piece, basically... Fox and Krystal (which are being done in SFM) will be digitally added in sometime today ^^
I will say, modeling a beach is a... bitch o.o for some reason working on this was so time consuming and hard, especially when it came to UVW Mapping the actual sand area (UVW mapping has always been a tedious and challenging process for me). Let's not even talk about the custom texture I had to make for the transition between the wet sand and regular dry sand. And then the fact that I couldn't simulate waves in the back drop or model them since YIKES that'd take forever with my current computer x3
Basically, this has been my favorite commission since it's me adding my own custom additions to a piece now! Unlike SFM where it's characters made by others, maps ported from games, and a few custom props that I throw in. Here- it's my own map!
