Patrons in Tistow

Hi y'all!

I've been thinking about doing this for a while but previously didn't have a chance to, but I've got an opportunity to have a wee sit down and consider the background characters and gang members coming up in future pages.

There's a LOT of people in Tistow and rather than using random made up ones, I'd like to invite all of you Patrons to post any original characters you may have, or just you as yourself to be included in Tistow as either a background character or a gang member!

We've previously done this with the lovely Michael Hawk who is now a permanent officer of the law and Rob's patrolling partner. In the future you'll also get to meet a few characters from our partner comics, Year in Hereafter and Bookwyrms in small roles. ♥

What we're looking for, are characters of all ages and ones that would fit the theme or be adapted slightly just so. So unfortunately we won't be able to take on super outlandish designs (no unusual hair colours or appendixes I'm afraid).

Character types we're looking for in the near future:

Older gentlemen - there's a lot of weathered sailors and elders in the gang, they do all the heavy labour and lifting and work as racketeers. Lots of carts and horse handling. Some are retired and just hang around the pub playing cards and sharing their knowledge with the youngsters. Beggards too of course, fair few of them.

Posh gentlemen and ladies - These can be all ages. Rich men and women, young and old. Strutting around the docks and looking down their nose at the working classes. They're nice to look at, fancy dresses and nice hats.

Working class women - of all ages. Doing odd jobs, grocery shopping, sitting down for a cup of tea with good friends and selling street goods (flowers, oranges, watercress, the lot).

Young working class men - There's a bit less need for these guys since the cast itself has a few, but there'll be some opportunities to draw younger chaps being taught by the older gents on the ways of the docks. Cart and horse handling, lots of lifting boxes and moving stuff around. Likely a few pub fights and getting thrown out by Mrs. Hook

Children - So. Many. Urchins. Legs' gang has a lot of kids. Lots of informants and petty little nuisances and clever tots. They'll be charging around from scene to another causing havoc or just quietly observing Jack and the gang. They can also tag along with the beggars and street sellers, giving a helping hand with selling flowers and watercress.
