Patreon overhaul

Wee bit bigger news this time for everyone! We're going to make some changes to the way our reward tiers work come January. There's a couple of reasons for this.

The galleries/tags have swollen a fair bit in the time we've been running this profile. There's an awful lot of content and it's the reason we've been doing regular Archive posts to mitigate the awkward scrolling through. So we're looking at making this easier somehow for y'all. We'll let you know what happens with that. A lot of the content has also been released elsewhere now (pages, concept art, etc) so we feel it's a good time to make those posts public.

Unfortunately, we've been made aware that people have been pirating our Patreon content. Bots are not unknown to us and we're both sad to hear this has been happening. We've seen a LOT of 'grab and run' behaviour in the last 6 months and it's very demoralising to see and not fair on our real Patrons. We both work very hard to keep our licenses valid and with your help we've been able to do exactly that and your pledges mean the world to us. They've enabled us to do really cool stuff in the past and continue to help us with bringing our projects to life.

What's changing in 2018?

We're going to start making all our Bin of Splendor (1$) content public and the Soup Kitchen (3$) tier is going away completely. The Fish Supper (10$) and Blacksmith's Buffet (30$) tiers will keep their physical rewards.

In the future, we'll continue to make all our sketches, lore content and other illustrations public. This means there won't be any obligations for you to contribute unless you'd of course like to give us a hand with creating content or if you'd like a physical reward to go with your donation. ♥

The reason we're removing the Soup Kitchen, is because we don't feel like we can continue to be consistent enough with early access page updates when we've got several projects going outside our personal ones. A lot has changed with our workload since we started publishing on Patreon and we feel this is the best thing to do for now.

Fish Supper and Blacksmith's Buffet will keep their physical rewards and we'd like to start scheduling sketch requests for these tiers again.

If you feel like you can no longer continue to donate, please don't worry. We understand situations change and life gets in the way. We hope that these changes will help a little though and that you'll continue to enjoy our art. ♥

One last note on Discord:

We've integrated Discord into our Patreon! The chat is for everyone, you can join even if you're not a Patron. However, for all our Patrons, there are two private channels of which one has page preview stuff to those who are interested in getting a peek ahead. ♥
