Estuary hounds - concepts
Added 2017-11-27 10:04:48 +0000 UTCThe river Effra is Tistow's life blood and it's a concept I'm looking forward to sharing and expanding on as we get further into the story. This means its more obscure residents, which only Jack and children can see, are fittingly marsh and water related creatures that have adapted to a more urban life (like the nixies).
The city cannot function without its waterways for trade and continues to worship river spirits for luck and prosperity.
I've not actually yet completely decided what to do with the hound's designs, but they're not dissimilar in purpose to what you've seen in Small Trolls.
