I know I already asked two questions, but I just had a really important question pop up in my mind. Do you think it pays to be conservative in alien design when trying to make a realistic project? I ask this because I find that most of the terrestrial species in my project all look (to a lesser degree in desert animals) similar.

I’ve been wanting to reach out for quite a long time, but I never known what question to ask in a long format manner. I asked a few questions to you before and have participated in a couple of your livestreams and I’m curious: * What are your goals now that you have your book publishing date set? * What keeps you motivated, impassioned, and busy in todays political climate? * And why do you care about people; especially people of minority groups such as LGBT individuals. * I noticed in a few posts of yours, a talk at a university in Istanbul, you very surprisingly displayed the trans and pride flags. Why do this in Turkey where you could potentially put yourself in harms way? * A more succinct question is why do you care? and what are you hoping for as so much to put yourself in political crosshairs when a man of your background could easily rest your laurels on erudite apolitical pursuits; more akin to your colleague Darren Naish. * You seem so different in a very wonderful way I’m eager to see if you feel comfortable enough addressing any of my questions.
