I wanted to share something just for a laugh. I've been editing the first 214 pages of the story in a very excruciating manner, but in all necessary ways.
- I've been recomposing all the panels and bordering them up. In most of the colour settings it's been hard to differentiate panels from each other and they've gotten lost. I like borderless panels, but I think I should learn more about using contrast in a correct way before relying on this technique again.
- Colour corrections. In the booklets some scenes (like this scene) were almost straight black. I'll be fixing that and with a generous hand, bringing up more contrast.
- Speech pubbles and font! My nemesis, I never seem to get it right! I've had to resize and readjust almost all of the dialogue so far, and I'm still in the middle of it. That alone has taken me almost a week, but at least I can be dead certain it'll be readable and you don't have to go squinty eyes.
I hope the book will turn out good enough!
