EXTERNAL QUESTIONS FROM ALE / NINU
Okay, thank you for your time in advance! Here are my burning questions:
- you shared your first book back in 2006 as a free PDF. Why did you choose that way of publishing?
- What's your opinion to the rise of A.I? Especially from our shared perspective of being a creative person?
- You mentioned in a Podcast with Alt Shift X that you think the lore of a fandom often is more interesting than the "finished product". I think of your contributions in the form of your artworks as a way of "modern lore" or the "lore of humanity". What do you think of this take?

Got a few questions
- Where exactly do you get your inspiration for your surreal paintings? They're super interesting.
- What advice or tips would you give to someone who wants to get better at making paleoart/drawing speculative creatures?
- When you designed the post humans in all tomorrows, were you deliberately trying to make them disturbing or uncanny? I'm curious as to how you see them as creatures descended from humans. Are they supposed to be seen as abominations?
Thanks as always for making the content you do

If you were to make a movie, what would it be? or Perhaps a series or something. And you can't say Alien: Nibiru ;-)
what genre would it be? would it be live action, and if so, who would the actors be? what kind of story?
Also, if a fan or acquaintance from the realm of the internetworld is in the neighbourhood and offers to buy you a coffee and/or lunch would you be inclined to accept the offer? Best wishes

Questions from Kai:
Here I have some questions about the creative and scientific process and cultural impact of All Yesterdays. Thank you for your time, and answer when you are able to. Only answer questions you are comfortable with.
How did the initial Idea for All Yesterdays come about? What was the creative/collaborative process like?
Is there anything you regret including or excluding from the book? Why?
If you could make it again, with knowledge from today, what would you change?
Did the process of creating All Yesterdays influence your opinion and perception of prehistory and prehistoric life?
Modern science can influence paleoart as new discoveries and conclusions are made available. In what ways do you think Paleoart influences paleontological research?
What are your biggest inspirations when doing art- what do you think about? Capturing specific emotions or feelings, telling a story?
How do you think your view of prehistoric life differs from the average non-scientific person? From the average paleontologist?
What is your most controversial paleoart/paleontology related opinion or idea?

Another question I've been thinking about is in the far future (millions of years) if Antarctica eventually drifts north and the ice melts, what do you think would colonize it? The obvious idea is a continent of birds and bugs but it would be interesting to think about bats who re-evolve a terrestrial lifestyle before eventually rodents and others arrive.

Why do you think people are obsessed with finding ancient civilizations that are more advanced in some way than we are today? Why do we crave the idea that there is some sort of ancient knowledge we don't understand and can discover?
Also what are the odds that we are among the first civilizations in the universe? Are there any significantly older than us or are we in the young crowd?

What came first in your life, sketching or storytelling? I remember when I was younger and used to draw strange creatures, but never got to elaborate any further.

This more of a suggestion than a question, but what do you think about creating some characters for the All Tomorrows story? What makes this story so awesome is the grand scale of things, but maybe creating some characters could make it easier for us to understand the behaviour and routine of certain species, diving a little deeper into their society and lore, almost like “a day in the life of an asteromorph” for example xD.
