Poll Results and a Retort to the guy who said my renders were "Unremarkable"...
Added 2025-06-08 08:52:17 +0000 UTCI'm happy that for 91% of you the game makes you feel something. That means it is in fact connecting. However, someone had to do one of those compliment but I'll throw in a criticism about the images posts (...and yes I took that personally).
To explain it again. The game was started on a 1070ti. So that's the quality of the images for the game. As I told him in my reply if you read it. The images get consistently better as has my mastery of doing them and Daz 3D itself does. But, they will always be limited for One Day at a Time because of the amount of samples/iterations used in the game when I started it that I continue to use for continuity even with much better hardware now.
As far a my not being able to do "Remarkable" renders, the images attached beg to disagree with this person. As far as the Animations, I'm hoping the next update with the Blender ones will get that monkey off my back.
I probably shouldn't be getting this emotional about the matter, but I know my level of skill and to be told I'm not good at renders pissed me off! Maybe I shouldn't share emotional polls like that or just not allow comments on them, IDK, that's the reason I cut the poll short though. But again, the attached images are my answer to this person, and the images in the next game will be closer to these. They are also my gift to all who participated in the poll. Hopefully the 4 people the game hasn't reached yet it will in the future!

I'm not sure I understand about half of what you said. As far as manning up. We don't do the program like that where I live. We talk about our emotions and don't do the take the cotton out of your ears and put it in your mouth thing. I've seen a lot of those hard ass recovery types relapse and die. My sponsor who passed away was a bit like that. But, he knew I didn't respond to it, so he didn't do that with me. It ended up killing him though. Not sure what you're talking about with "stop writing" or "start a new AVN and not going far enough". It's my goal to have a new game going by the time this one ends so my content streams doesn't get interrupted. I'm not pissed off at you in the slightest. But, I also don't think I need to man up either. I like my vulnerability and willingness to share. It makes me a stronger person not a weaker one. I know what you're trying to do though Doc, and it's appreciated. I know it comes from a good place.
