About Sam...

But, I promised in the poll comments if Sam won I would tell the story about her character. So here it is. Sam wasn't even going to be in One Day at a Time originally. Her character was just an attractive model I used for the gas station scene, and she was going to stay the girl you would have probably never remembered MC robbing for him and Mary to get high.
However, my mind got to working and I thought "maybe there's a way we could bring that girl back from the gas station (because I liked her model a lot)". So I thought ok, let's show the direct result of fucking someone over and having to deal with it in person. Thus Sam came to the meeting and happened to be Barbs sponsee, and as they say the rest is history!
On a personal note I can't imagine the game without Sam in it now, and what she's become. Had I not had that little light bulb moment Sam would have never been a thing. "So, what's your point Zoey?". My point is, people who say they outline everything from the beginning of a story and don't deviate from that at all are missing out big time! I have only one word to say that proves my point to anyone who's played the game and that's "Samantha".

That's the best time in writing. A character comes out of nowhere and becomes a big deal as the story goes on. I have a feeling she will be apart of Paris's recovery process. Just hope there won't be any relapses. Thanks Zoey 5for taking some time out to explain a bit more.πππ»
