Announcement!
Added 2020-05-14 01:02:13 +0000 UTCEdit: Bloodymares is indeed going to take over the ORS walktrhough. I will post his first update here as Qleaf does when I have taken over one of his guides. I will be helping him along with whatever questions he has, so we will make sure the integrity of the guide stays the quality you could come to expect (at least I hope!). xoxo
Some of you may not care about this, but some of you might. I have made a decision after picking up Pale Carnations which is a HUGH game content wise. That decision is I am no longer going to continue the Our Red String Guide. I'm not a huge fan of the game, and she releases 60 choice updates monthly with an Alpha, Beta, and Final version. All of those versions make it to F... and if I wait even until the beta version to update it, almost everyone has played it already. It's very frustrating. She also changes things between versions. If it was a small game that would not matter, but it is HUGH. HOWEVER, I do think I have someone that is going to pick up the guide. I'm waiting to hear back from him. I promise you guys that I will NOT make a habit of this! I don't like having to do it, but it's just what I want to do. The only other game that would possible have a chance of going is Dog Days of Summer. I have already talked about this one on discord and in the walkthrough post so that should not be news. I have to see what the code is going to be like when he finally updates it to 4.0. Because while I like that game it is a nightmare to do a guide for because of the way it is coded. I haven't given up on that one yet thought, so don't take any of that to the bank. I'm going to wait and see. Thank you all for understanding, and for those of you who don't you have my sincere apology's.

It's exactly like that, but fortunately the person I have taking over is a huge fan of the game so, I think he will do a great job for those who enjoy it. I'm however with you. Also if she didn't release a 60 choice update monthly, and I didn't have nearly 30 guides to tend to (not to mention if a hot 0.1 comes out I want to pick up). Then I probably would have stuck with it. This will be the only guide he is doing though so it's a perfect situation.

2020-05-14 21:44:55 +0000 UTCI haven't played ORS (don't intend to atm) but if the choice scheme is similar to what GGGB had then I can only fully support your decision. I've tried to follow a wt for GGGB some time ago but I gave up almost instantly, for these games are a total mess. Too many choices, you basically have to go for a route and hope to find something you're going to like, or you're pretty much doomed to start all over again. So much fun! I can't find any enjoyment by playing a game like this.
