Update + Ai vs Me!

Hello everyone!

First I want to thank all the new patrons and free members who have joined my community for the past months, it's an honor considering it's my least active period in a while. I'm sorry I still have a lot of messages, emails and notes that are waiting for a reply.

⏰ UPDATE

As you know the reason behind my low profile is my 14 month old son. We've been sleeping very bad for the last 4-6 weeks, worst nights since he was born. But it's getting slowly better and I have planned a lot of personal pictures and commissions, without pressure or deadlines because I'll never be able to know the amount of time I will have to work.

So if you want a commission from me I just need some extra patience from you. I'm a new mom trying to find my new workflow as a self-employed person, the taxes keep coming monthly so I must stay active.

⚡️AI vs Me!

For the last weeks I've been keeping and eye on deviant art and what people are doing with AI art. The site is now invaded with this kind of pictures. I have my personal opinion on this and won't argue with anyone about it, I know my time as artist will come to and end sooner than expected.

So I decided to use these creations to generate color palettes, compositions and inspiration to create my own art and learn. And then use all that new stuff I learned to make commissions and personal art. This anime picture is the first attempt. I created the picture on the left with AI and then tried to copy it without any help from a blank canvas.

I'm very happy with the result and I will post more of these experiments, always showing my process so everybody can see I'm not cheating. I need to improve a lot but feels very nice to enjoy the process.

Later I'm going to post the video process, seems that Patreon doesn't allow video and pictures in the same post.
