Giveaway: Nvidia GTX645 Graphics Card
Added 2017-02-18 20:15:53 +0000 UTCOkay, this is a bit of an odd giveaway, and not at all a "test/feedback" situation. The giveaway is open to all Patrons at any level.
Recent versions of Premiere have stopped supporting the graphics card that I've had forever, so I've been forced to upgrade. Thanks in large part to you, Patrons, for making it easy to do.
I hate to see serviceable hardware go to the junk heap so I'm offering up the older card to you, if you're interested. It's used but functional; the only reason I'm upgrading is because Premiere stopped supporting it.
I really have no idea if this card is worth having, but maybe someone out there is doing a scratch-build on the cheap and can put it to use. If not, I'm sure I'll find something else to do with it.

A 700 series GTX card. The 645 stopped supporting CUDA under Premiere. Honestly, I don't need a super beefy card at all, and I don't want to upgrade my PSU to support any card that requires supplemental power. The 645 was fine, except that it became buggy with Premiere past a certain version.
