Based on your votes not too long ago, you guys n' gals decided the next themed video for VGM Vibes 4 is Castles & Palaces!
I ask in your assistance in letting me know which Castle-like songs I've done on the channel already, that would help me quite a bit. (Or a game I've played)

A reminder, songs don't necessarily have to belong to a "castle stage" but have the feel of one.
Think examples like royalty, big hall, regal, magnificent, horns, gothic etc.

Had to join in and suggest Yoshi’s Island - Castle/Fortress theme. This one is as good or better than Super Mario Worlds… Also Bowser’s Castle in the Mario Kart 8 DLC is a quality banger. Dr Wily has too many great ones.

But the best one might be Holy Orders Be Just or Be Dead from Guilty Gear XX and it's mostly because of the stage they fight in which is a palace and/or Castle.

It features stained glass windows and a western gothic aesthetic.

Also, in case you didn't see the thread below the Kingdom hearts suggestion, there is two versions of Lord of the Castle in the list. The original from Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories and the KHIII version. Lord of the Castle is for a third final boss phase added into the PS2 remake of the GBA game Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories. As mentioned in the thread, the themes for the other the two phases are also on the list: Graceful Assassin and Scythe of Petals (in that order). All these themes (except in KHIII) take place on the final 13th floor of an ominous, bewitching castle of illusions called Castle Oblivion.

2024-05-13 10:30:38 +0000 UTCOut of all the soundtracks on the list you have yet to cover, these that I know of fit the theme: - Mario Kart 8: Bowser's Castle - Castlevania Portrait of Ruin: Invitation of a Crazed Moon - Castlevania Circle of the Moon: Awake - Super Mario 64: Inside Peach's Castle - The Legend of Zelda, Breath of the Wild: Hyrule Castle (I would combine this with A Link to the Past version as the BotW version borrows heavily from this one One other Castlevania song not on the list but I would highly recommend is Top Floor from Aria of Sorrow and it's remix from the Lament of Innocence soundtrack "Holy Cross Obsessed by the Moon"

Definitely one of the best castle themes I've heard, and I remember it getting stuck in my head as a kid. One of those songs that felt so intense and out of nowhere for a mario wii game. Also, I love your vids Jesse! Huge ff9 fan here so I've seen that playthrough more than once haha. 👏

The list doesn't specify if its the first OST version or the PS3 HD I.5 Remix version. I doubt its the the original GBA version. Also on the list are earlier battle themes from same game of the same boss charecter. Graceful Assassin and Scythe of Petals (in that order.) Just listening to these for a few seconds I hear gothic vibe. They do take place in a castle.

Lorule is sort of an alternate Hyrule Castle in a backwards dimension. One of the newer renditions of the Hyrule Castle theme is in Breath of the Wild which is on the list, but the original was in A Link to the Past

I will preface by saying that the vibe itself isn't as strongly there, but I'm going with it because the name obviously fits.
