Yes, in case you forgot there is just a tinge of supernatural in this series, there it is. I really like that they incorporate supernatural elements, but only with a light touch. Similar to the Fuko arc, and even the Kotomi arc for that matter - in situations where it shouldn't be possible for someone to be able to communicate their feelings, it somehow is able to reach them anyway. And I think that is something that we as humans yearn for, and we can see in our own experiences whenever something reminds us of someone who has passed away or someone who is far away. We want there to be a way for our love and feelings to traverse impossible distances. So to me the way Clannad portrays this is very relatable and beautiful.

Yeah this episode really alludes to the magic elements of this story, that "light" that grants a wish. Just take a closer look at the title screens in every episode, look in bottom middle, and a little to the left underneath each title. In this episode it was at 2:28, notice those little orbs of light? It looks the same as the one you see in the episode near the end. Now go back to each episode's title screen and count them. In episode 2 of After Story, there were 7 lights, in episode 4 it went up to 8, in this episode it's 8 lights, and I would be willing to bet that in the next episode you'll see 9 lights. If you go back through the first season, and look for the same thing you'll notice that it adds the lights slowly throughout that season too. For example, by episode 20 of the first season, there's only 5 lights. Just something interesting to take note of.

Loved your talk at the end. I remember having dreams at times which were followed by events that were way too similar. Maybe we live in the world of Clannad, who knows?
