True, it seems like he has alot of shows to watch right now. This would be a perfect successor to clannad when he gets done with that.

Hachiman is one unique protagonist that really makes the show. The three of them do actually. Its a typical HS slice of life but its more focused on the idea of change and that life does get easier and better than what we expect. Get ready to get very heavy handed into examining relationships and motives behind people's actions as Hachiman's defense mechanism is expecting the worst out of people. Watching how our three main characters and their relationship with each other change over this time of youth is what makes the show.

Rewatching the first episode for the 5 time, I think, is really clear how this show gets better in every single aspect with time. Even the animation (in the second season it's very clear) and voice acting gets better, the dialogues, the characters... Unfortunately, you are wrong about the voice acting, they sound quite a like though. I have to thank William for requesting it, really good taste! Also, great video =)

Man I have a very strange relationship with this show. I usually dont really like melodramas or shows about high school romance, and at times the show is a bit much for me. But that said, I relate a little too much to hachimans cynicism and self-loathing. I dont really feel that way anymore but his character really reminds me of a time when I was younger that I'm not proud of, and makes me glad that I did grow as a person. Overall I'd say it's definitely worth a watch if a spot opens up for it one day

I actually had a really good experience in high school! Well, as good as teenage drama and all that can be hahaha. I was lucky to end up in the same school as a lot of my middle school friends and ended up meeting some pretty cool people so I ended up having a lot of fun. Thank for the reaction, Zen!
