Fun fact, the composer said that he limited his instrument variety for the 1st game because it was heavily rooted in one time period, With 2 being more expansive, that's when instruments like the saxophone are used.

The thing is tho, the intros are all in the same key and so they all can fit and flow together, since they were designed that way. This medley strings each one into the next after playing twice, before finally leading into critical clash 2 at the end of Hikari’s theme
