dangit i only realised this one was here when i saw the current archetype post, CURSES! i would have loved to lobby for the grafting parasite, sounds freakishly AWESOME!

2025-09-07 23:15:45 +0000 UTCEngineering spiders and have their webs be able to form structures for roots or be strong enough to gather soil/structure for plants to root into them to create vertical structures. Maybe even super strong thread with variable thickness for anything from razor wires to construction material. That way, Vrax doesn't have to be completely stonewalled by the Forsaken Lands in terms of playing 'wide' with territory expansion, but he can also play 'tall' in creating hanging gardens for his new empire. Maybe even have the spiders be considered truly symbiotic for the plants they work with so that they are left mostly alone and the things they support with their structures also support them with nourishment. Essentially creating a nutrient web ala fungual connections that happen between root structures now.
