tortilla soup? beef stew, pozole, baked beans, clam chowder, cheesy potato soup. BTW, any way it can make more multiple servings or pick up all servings? I tend to have big families. I have to reset and drop every time I make soup for my toddler or my sim eats three bowls of soup in a row if I don't watch her like a hawk lol :) Thanks for all you bring to my game!

AlwaysCurious

I know the post above wasn't soup related but you already have so many great ideas for soup from others and when I read about the instapot I was like "Oooo yogurt would be fun for my Sims to eat besides just that one flavor that comes with the game!" Hahaha! Also even though yogurt might not be normally thought of as a " fall food " I do make it year round.

Sara W

For the instapot how about homemade yogurt? You could have a lot of different flavors and combinations and really have fun with it. It seems like it wouldn't be to hard to make because you wouldn't have to add a bunch of new ingredients to do it. You already have different flavors of milk, fruit, honey and some spices like cinnamon. To make real life instapot yogurt all you really need is milk and a starter. If you are going the easy route ( like I usually do lol,) you just use a little bit of yogurt as your stater to make a new batch of yogurt. So if you go that route you wouldn't even need to make a starter because yogurt is already part of the base game and or comes with 'srsly cooking overhaul'. You could also add an option once you make a batch of yogurt to keep some as a new starter for a new batch. Once the yogurt is made that's when you can start adding toppings like fruit or honey or spices or caramel or granola or all the above to just be extra hahaha! My favorite flavor of the different homemade yogurts I have done in real life is salted caramel and honey. It's So delicious! Also once you have the ability to make yogurt in the game, later if you are looking for ideas there are a lot of deserts that use yogurt in them that could be added in the future. It even tastes really good just mixed in with some icecream and in smoothies etc.

Beef stew and chili are my go-to faves for the crockpot. Pulled pork for sandwiches. I also do a chicken and vegetables like celery, carrots, and potatoes in my crockpot also. Honestly don't use my Instapot that often, but I make coconut curry in there sometimes with a meat and vegetables (flavors vary). This is such a great idea! Love all your stuff.

Lizzie S.

I make oork shoulder roast in Green chilis- by the time the instapot finishes it (in an hour & a half)... we get perfect pulled pork.

kcamille

N Harper

I would love to see Maryland crab soup with oyster crackers.

Windy Butler

Oh, I also just realized you could add the option to make chili powder at the mill. Again, please forgive me if that's already an option. I also love the suggestions others have made, especially the West African cuisine.

Temesha Hostetler

I can't remember if you've already done this, but chili would be perfect for a soup maker/instant pot. You could do several different varities: the standard beef, but also chicken or turkey. For vegetarian options, there are bean versions. Chili can also be made spicy, so it's a great opportunity to introduce different chili pepper harvestables.

Temesha Hostetler

would it be possible for the appliances to have an upgrade to make them off-the-grid compatible? There is just not enough food off the grid. Humans have been cooking with just fire for most of our time on this planet and it's just crazy that EA thinks off the grid means single-serve meals or starving.

Lady D

Oh I was planning to make Egusi soup as a part of West African Cuisine set!

MunMun

It would be amazing if you would consider making Nigerian recipe such as fufu with okra soup... or fufu with Eusi soup. Fried plantains with nigeran fried rice and so on or a complication of different cuisines from the Island like Nigeria Ghana Jamacia Dominican Republic Puerto Rico. I will settle for Chicken and Potato soup, Chicken Noodles soup, Vegetable Soup or maybe Nigerian Pepper soup. Love your work.

Mary Ann

What we call in South Africa - Wildsvleis Sop, like a meaty soup made with wild meat and veggies, nice and fatty. And Moroccan Lentil Soup of course. Also Creamy Pea Soup with Garlic and Bacon. Something I make often.
