Some ideas for more okra dishes in the future: Stewed okra (African/Caribbean/Black American) by itself or with tomatoes or greens, okra leaves cooked like collards, okra rice with salted codfish or shrimp (Caribbean/Black American Creole/Gullah), okra and corn, fried okra (Black American/Guyanese), okra and cornmeal (Caribbean), curry okra and butter beans or chickpeas (Caribbean), steamed fish with okra (Caribbean), Caribbean soups (okra, greens, onions, potatoes, peppers, garlic, herbs, coconut milk, green plantain, pumpkin, corn with or without meat) and the okra seeds can be used as a coffee or tea substitute. I'd love to help give suggestions for more Black/African foods, just let me know!

2022-03-09 17:45:31 +0000 UTCI dont know most of the foods you mentioned haha since those are not native to me..but I did make candied yams, fried fish, shrimp and grits already. The food I am doing now were requested by many people...especially African food as its sorely lacking. Also some of the food you mentioned are all on my list to make especially the drinks, various iced teas, green beans, potato salad, black eyed peas

2022-03-09 17:43:23 +0000 UTCI love your dedication and your talent but could please make some foods that we all know of. You do a lot of international foods that I have never heard of(Guess I need to get more cultured LOL) but I would like see some more soul food perhaps. Such as ribs, green beans, potato salad, fried fish, black eyed peas, candied yams, chitterlings, ham hocks, neck bones, grits etc. Also don't forget the hot sauce!! As well as drinks. Kool-aid, summer peach tea, I think you get my point LOL!!

2022-03-08 17:17:07 +0000 UTCI didn't know your birthday was this month! Mine is too. :) Will the injera be able to be used with the other foods, like gomen or will they be eating it separately? If it's a surprise don't mind me!
