Can I suggest compressing the PSDs into a zip file or even a 7z (7zip) file? I put the psd in a zip file and it shrunk the file size by about half ( 57% as big) and 7z removed another 15 MB (so it's only 40% as big). Halving the sizes or even 1/3rd-ing the size of the PSDs will make a big difference for the files that are like 300 MB (I recall seeing a couple like this).
