I have to agree... they all looked uninspiring, but I suppose bourbon is not going to color a drink bright green. I think this calls for a bourbon cocktails round 2, with more garnishes. Oh, and Clisare and Kellie are both right sort of - you can use "alcohols" with two types of alcohol, like ethyl, methyl or isopropyl. Since these cocktails were likely (because methyl is poisonous, and iso isn't good for you at all) ethyl alcohol, then it would be the singular form, I think.
