Greetings from the end of the year

Hello, this is Tao!

There's only one day left in this year.

This is the last day of this year, and I'm about to finish my illustration work for this year.

I'd like to talk about something boring but serious for the time being.

This year was a big year for me as an illustrator.

I have always wanted to grow as an illustrator, and I felt that I would never change unless I did something.

I've always been a little slow in everything I do.

So I decided to make a move from the beginning of this year.

What I did as a trial was

・Creating illustrations with Commission on skeb.

・Operation of support sites such as Fanbox, Patoreon, and Fantia.

・Increasing the amount of illustration creation and the frequency of illustration updates on Twitter.

As a result

・Increased the number of followers on Twitter (over 8,000! I'm so happy!

・More than a certain amount of income from skeb and support sites.

・I gained confidence as an illustrator.

I was able to do these things.

I was able to grow in a better direction as an illustrator through my own actions this year.

I believe this is also the result of the support of my supporters and followers.

Now, in order to grow even more in 2021, I've decided to take a closer look at what I've been working on.

The contents of this review are as follows.

・Resume skeb requests

　I'm planning to work on one sketch a month, instead of many every month as I did this year. (That is, if I get a lot of requests...)

　The reason for this is that I want my illustration business to be centered around a support site.

　I would appreciate your understanding.

・Reduction of support site operation

　I will end the operation of Fantia in January 2021.

　I'd like to thank you for your understanding and support.

・I'm going to start selling PSD files.

　Up until now, I have not been creating PSD data because I have been working in a clip studio.

　However, I think there may be a demand for such a service in some cases, so I'm going to experiment with it.

　Please check it out if you like. (I'm thinking of preparing illustrations for 2020 as a start.

　I'm planning to sell them at places like BOOTH.

That's about all I'm thinking about at the moment.

I know I'm saying a lot of things, but the bottom line is that I'm going to do my best again next year!
