2025-01-16 19:29:17 +0000 UTCJust wanted to alert you: there's a rumor going around (at least on Facebook and Reddit) the Amazon will stop streaming The Expanse in The UK and/or Europe at the end of January. This appears to be false. While some folks have posted screen shots of the announcement, others report it is a glitch in the way Amazon's software monitors the status of it's shows. IWO, the posting is a mistake. One of the authors (Daniel Abraham) hasn't heard anything about it, and is in the process of checking with his sources. Bottom line: don't panic.

Talking and details are something they're not interested in. Just the "juicy" stuff. @Etta Eskridge You nailed it in describing why I think those who love this show end up loving it so much. You described my feelings towards the Roci crew perfectly! It's definitely one of the reasons (among so many) why this is my all time favorite anything ever watched on a screen movie or tv show!

Its so cool to watch it again knowing that it is indeed one shot and how amazing the choreography is ! Ty and that Guy do go into each episode in depth and this one is no exception. Wes recalls how ridiculously cold it was shooting those scenes at night!!

2025-01-10 03:02:16 +0000 UTCYes, IOW they never formed a connection to the characters in which case the show cannot mean much to them because the whole meaning of the Expanse is in finding yourself in the family you make and defending them to the bitter end. Sure its futuristic scifi but its also about love, loyalty and commitment to those you love. We become virtual members of the Roci family and the others around them as the story swells and magnifies. If you are only in it for the "pew pew" well, I feel sorry for that viewer and they cannot possibly understand the intensity of the bonds forged between the characters that we love.

They're small 5-6 minute bonus scenes that cover stuff not in the episodes and add some nice extra context. There's one for every episode except the last, and they're stupidly hidden away in the X-Ray -> Bonus Content menu in the Amazon player. No idea why Amazon decided to make them so hard to find...

While her actions may be questioned, showing mercy is a true strength, far more than being merciless and cold blooded. It is far more difficult to be strong for others, than it is to be selfish. The Expanse is a parable in itself.

But you can be for damned sure Marco isn't going to put others above himself. He's going to live like a king while millions of other Belters suffer and starve.

It's crazy just how many ppl couldn't stand her arc this season. So many complained that it took too much of the season and I just sit back scratching my head at such a response. For me they did a brilliant job showing the absolute resolve, smarts, and nightmare one character had to go through. This is not even speaking on the absurd level of acting Dominique Tipper did this season to show the pain the character has to endure! Now it's time for the S5 FINALE and OMFG I can't wait to see your reaction to what's an insane season finale. Just when you think The Expanse has shocked you as much as it possibly could....here comes some heavy doses of MORE next episode!!!
