Arcane 2x6 - 'The Message Hidden Within the Pattern' TIMESTAMP / FULL LENGTH Reaction & Review

The inversion of Jinx/Isha is just in perfect symmetry, the writers of this show warned us in 1x1, that the children of violence, are doomed to be a part of it.

Wow! You all are on fire with these insights! Great, great stuff! Damn...this right here. This is why I love this place and all of you!

Really good theory! Never even thought about the fruit but I am really digging where you're going with it!

Fury Roll

Great point about the cog!

On that subject, the Hextech chamber underground is cold. You can see Jayce, Ekko, and Heimerdinger's breath. However, when Jayce confronts Salo, you can see Jayce's breath but you never see Salo's. Does he even have body temperature anymore?

Was the fruit they were eating made from arcane magic? They made a point to show us the fruit more than once. It was hextech blue colored. Im wondering if everything in the compound was basically made from/by the arcane and if so if that would have been ACTUALLY sustainable. I feel like it wouldn't have been. Also none of the arcane cult people were wearing shoes. Do they feel pain? Cold? or are they like viktor once healed where they are kind of.....disconnected? The vibes are definitely off. I feel like this season has me questioning things and theorizing way more than s1 and Im loving that.

I love that you acknowledge Vis trauma, shes been through just as much as jinx, tho Jinx presumably had a ok time once Silco adopted her yet Vi spent that time in prison getting abused and yet a large part of the fandom dumps on Vi for not being a good enough sister. :( both sisters need a break and lots of therapy. I really loved the scenes of Vander healing this ep, they did an amazing job illustrating the mind of a tortured man. The visuals were so beautiful. Also the visuals from Jayces POV are very weird, the colors change and glitch when we are seeing his POV. I am so confused and intrigued about what the hell happened to him ekko and heimer for him to be 1. so brutal and 2. still apparently tripping balls. "If you knew the lore before do you wish you didn't before this" I don't play LOL but I know some of the lore because I love their cinematics. I knew the vander/warwick thing. It was fun to theorize because this was hinted to allllllllllll the way back in S1EP1 when they referred to Vander as Hound of the Underground which is Warwicks title in some of the lore. I don't think knowing that made the story less impactful. I also knew Vi would end up working with the enforcers so that wasn't surprising either but it was fun to see HOW that would come about. The show puts a ton of little nods to game lore in the show, Ive picked up on some of the easter eggs just because of watching cinematics and that's been really fun.Knowing the lore has also made some of the world building less confusing (like the power dynamic between topside/undercity etc). Seeing Jinx and Viktor in the same scene was wild, I wish we got more of them interacting before it all fell apart. I also wish Sevika had interacted with vander and/or seen the compound. I know that would have been complicated but she is so pro Zaun it would have been interesting to see her seeing a possible solution to Zauns suffering. Tho she probably would have lost another arm in the battle so I guess its good she stayed home lmao.

There is a quote from Doctor Who that keeps running through my head after watching this: "You gave me hope and then you took it away. That's enough to make anyone dangerous. God knows what it will do to ME." Isha gave Jinx hope. Vander gave the sisters hope. Now that hope has been taken from them. God only knows what it will do to them. Although I think we have our answer for Jinx at least. The cog Viktor was holding had Jinx's markings on one side. That was the side it landed on when it stopped spinning.
