A few more photos from my trip that I forgot to include.

I went to the St. Mary’s county fair, and to visit the farm of my host‘s Mennonite friends to see their baby cows, work horses, and their tack shop. There’s no electricity of course, and that‘s where I took a pic of the cat with their handmade leather goods, checked out their handmade bullwhips and embarrassingly tried to explain how I use them for my show.. because one of them asked what I use them for.😅

More food pics, since some of you liked the donut pic. Christina’s sister made me a Charlotte Russe.

I visited a friend of their’s car collection, like a dream out in the country with big clean garages to house the fleet, and I‘ve never met someone who collects big Peterbuilt trucks and tow trucks all done in glimmering chrome. He had some very nice 30s cars too, I didn‘t really take any photos of them because I was too busy talking about cars to yet another guy who’s shocked that I know so much about 30s and 40s cars 😆 These were enviable garages, as my own cars are scattered around until I get a property to store them on.

I was imagining myself living somewhere like this and learning to drive a horse drawn carriage around town. Next time I go I will take carriage driving lessons.
